Ubisoft hat ein offizielles Map- und Textur-Pack für Minecraft veröffentlicht, dass die Bauklötzchen-Welt mit der Inselwelt aus Far Cry 3 mixt. Die bereits fertiggestellte Map ist den Far Cry 3-Inseln nachempfunden. Zudem soll man Far Cry 3-Charaktere wie Vaas, Jason und Citram antreffen. Die Map beinhaltet die wichtigsten Schauplätze aus Far Cry 3 und es wurden über 50 Easter-Eggs eingebaut Hilfe erhielt Ubisoft bei der Umsetzung übriegns von dem bekannten Minecraft-Modder Michael 'Sacr3' Lambert.

Installationsanweisung:

texture pack:

place the Farcry_3_textures.zip in the minecraft texture folder
(can be found clicking on the "open texture pack folder" in the texture section)

select the texture instead of the original one

map pack:

unzip the map from Farcry-3-minecraft-map.zip and extract it into your "saves" folder
(Usually located in %appdata% .minecraft/saves)

select it from the game menu.
