Es gibt neue Informationen zum Patch des Half-Life Mod Blue Shift:
Currently, Gearbox is putting together the first patch for Blue Shift. Fortunately, Blue Shift was very solid, but a few minor issues have cropped up that need addressed. There is currently no set date for when the patch is to be released, but we are trying to get it done as soon as possible.
There is one bug that Gearbox and Sierra has been unable to reproduce but which definately exists, the flashlight bug. This is where we would like the help of the Blue Shift community. If you have experienced this bug (the flashlight does not turn on or off) please respond to this post with the following information:
- Video Card
- Video Drivers
- Display mode being used in Blue Shift (Software, OpenGL, Direct3D)
- Display resolution being used and bit depth being used (640x480x16,640x480x32 etc..)
- Operating System (Win95, Win98, Win2k...)
- Key/mouse button that the you have the flashlight bound to
- Area in the game where you are experiencing the bug
- Whether or not you have the HD pack installed for Blue Shift
We will detail the full bug fix list in the future, but current issues that are definately being addressed are:
- Problems with loading custom levels (user made .bsp levels for Blue Shift)
- Missing animations for HD models that were not used in HL, HL:OpFor, or HL:BS but that are used by many end user mods and single player episodes.
- A bug that can prevent the player from progressing through ba_yard5 (Captive Freight).
The above are not the only issues, but these issues are the ones that have already been addressed or that we are currently addressing.
Thanks again for you help, support, and patience. Please feel free to post any questions.
