Marcin Momot, Community Lead Manager beim polnischen Entwickler CD Projekt, hat im offizielle Forum erste Informationen über den kommenden Patch v1.09 für das Open-World-Rollenspiel The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt veröffentlicht. Demnach wird das Update eine Vielzahl von Bugfixes und Verbesserungen beinhalten. Dabei soll die Performance aller Plattformen, insbesondere aber der PS4-Fassung optimiert werden:

The patch is on the way. Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive - the list of changes is massive. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more. We ask for a bit more patience. [...] Working to have it posted as soon as possible but it won't happen before October. Sorry.

Details hat er leider keine genannt, nur dass der Patch in Arbeit ist, die Changelog gewaltig sei und konkrete Informationen frühestens im Laufe des Oktobers bekannt gegeben werden können.

Ob das Update zeitgleich mit dem Release der Erweiterung Hearts of Stone, die am 13.10.2015 erscheint, veröffentlicht wird, dürfte somit leider eher unwahrscheinlich sein.
