While many criteria determine what's game of the year, the most important is fun. And this year's winner is an insane good time. The kind of game you could play for hours on your own, or at a party to the delight of a dozen screaming friends. The kind of game that you could play until the sun came up, one that still leaves you chortling with glee and discovering new things weeks after you bought it. The winner? Grand Theft Auto 3 for the Playstaion 2. Mostly a driving game, GTA3 has a wrecklessness all its own.
