Nachdem während des Closed Betatests von World of WarCraft schon viele Fans die erschienen Informationen mit Spannung aufgenommen haben, kommt nun eine interessante Nachricht von Blizzard: bald startet die Open Beta für Nordamerika, bei der dann wohl alle interessierten Spieler ein erstes Mal in Azeroth Abenteuer erleben können:

We are happy to announce that we will soon be accepting applicants for the World of Warcraft® Open Beta Test for North America. The open phase of beta will give people a chance to enter Azeroth and play World of Warcraft before the game is released. More details will become available in the days ahead, so please stay tuned to the World of Warcraft Community Site for more updates on this exciting announcement.

Ob die Open Beta auch für Europäer offen sein wird, oder ob wir später eine eigene Open Beta bekommen ist noch unklar.

Geht man aber von der bisher strikten Gebietstrennung aus, die bei der Closed Beta schon zum Einsatz kam, dürfte es für EU Spieler schwer werden bei der Beta dabei zu sein.
