Hunting Tipps

Know your sporting arms very well. Spend time at the target range, at both long and short range. Each rifle and bow has different handling and ballistic characteristics, so you should practice with each. Make sure that you have correctly sighted-in your weapons at the range, or you will miss the target when it comes time to shoot.

Read the mission summaries well, as they will give directions that will help you get your target animals.

Never run or even walk too much when you are trying to get close to animals. They can hear and see the movement. Instead, crouch or crawl to a closer location to keep them from noticing you.

Use stands or other objects to get a better perspective on the terrain. You can climb stands and get into blinds in many areas. Look for signs of the target in the area such as tracks.

Always keep the animals UPWIND of you. The animals can smell as well as see and hear.

While you are waiting, use calls, rattles, and scents to lure the target in but don"t over use the calls and scents. A little is good, but too much will alert the animals that something is not natural. Use different tools together to create a natural feeling for the target.

Learn the hunting areas and try the hunts several times to try to increase your score. The animals will act differently based upon how you react to them. Be patient and don't move around too much!
