The English
You start off with an easy target, the French. First you should build inns at the three provinces at the lower half of the English lands, in France. Train Hobilars and Urban milita, by 1901 you should of attacked the French provinces that you can reach. Before that you will have to bribe the Welsh army, take them to Wessex. Them will join the army that will attack Flanders, this battle should be easy if them decide to fight not abandon the province. Use the Hobilars in two armys one with 4 units the other with 2-3 units, the archers should go in the one which you thinck needs them, remember use the hobilars to surround them, not directly charge them (see my hints for this game) you have to hire mercenarys, without them you probely wont be able to win all 4 battles, hire all you can. You should try to capture or kill any French kings or princes you can, its better to bribe them tham fight them. If youv won all of them battles the French will be in Champanage, them will have a big army there and will launch counterattacks on Flanders, so attack them first. That should be the French delt with, the germans wont be so easy but you can get away with attacking them for quiet a while without being excomunicated, dont think there so thought, you shouldnt underestimate them or overestimare them just slowly push forward, from the north first them down. Make an alliance with the Italians, them will attack the Germans anyway, but will need help. You should try to attack there main provinces first then they will not be able to make enought troops to counter your attacks. The Danes will be a tempting target now you been warned by the pope to stop attacking the Germans, but there land is not very good and are better for trading with. But the Italians are a good target, so close to the pope and Milan has stuff to build ships. A good stratigic outpost for your attacks on the east. You will not have to do much to destroy the Italians, just do the same as with the French attack them at once and when the pope warms you to stop attacking them youv already done what you had to do. From now on it gets hard, You can attack the Spanish, but they are a buffer against the Almohads what will come in about 4000 troops if you just let them grow srtonger. So now we have to attack north africa or well be in trubble. Dont even think about attacking the Byzintines or youll have a long war on your hands, what wouldnt be so bad if the Almohads wernt comeing in 4000 troops every time then spliting up and causing havoc (trust me). Now the spanish and the Almohads would be at war for some time and the Spanish are probily going to be almost destroyed, this is when you attack, they will hav e to do a 2 front war, not so good as you should be one mean mother now. You will simply need Chivilic men at arms and knights, if you use them right, you will be able to drive them out of Spain and destroy the Spanish and Argonese at once, dont give them time to recover, take them out when there weak. Now your probely the strongst team on the map now, so make alliances and capture constantinople once you have had time to recover, by them the Byzintines should be at war with the Turks and the Russians. They will be no problem. North africa will be you target now, from constantinople you can transport troops to north africa, try to keep ships in all the seas to blockade them if someone thinks that they should break the alliance, what would be anoying, but there is practilly knowone that can stand up to you now, so to compleat it not go on an all out offencive launch every thing you got at them and get troops from every province, but at any time dont train Peasents they will run away which will make the rest of your normal troops want to runaway. If you want to know any more just go to the hints, I will be putting alot on there:)

The Byzantines
First I want to say that this is going to be better than the last one now I"m not so tired. First you have to select what time period you want to play in, this is simple. All the teams get stronger except for you, So the early period is the best to start. From the start you have the ability to build Byzantine infantry, which is without dough the best and really the only troops you have to train for the first 100 years, and of course a few urban militia to reinforce positions until your infantry can arrive. About 3-5 units in each province bordering any other nation, maby a few more depending on how hostile the boarders are. You will want to reinforce the Turkish boarders, as from history they will want to attack early in the game depending if you make an alliance with them. Don't make an alliance with them, The Egyptians will want to make an alliance with you, If you accept it from them and not the Turks then they will attack them by at leats 30 years in the game. So you want to be able to attack the Turks by 1130. We will now have to get construction done. Firstly build a Fort, then Farmland +20, then start geting the buildings to make Byzantine infantry. In Crete and Cyprus you should of started to make shipyards, we'll use them to transport troops to attack faraway places, like the Spanish. You should be starting to make the buildings to make Byzantine infantry by the time the Turks are defeated. The annoying thing with the Turks is there Horse archers. They are not really a threat, But an annoyance if you know how to sort them out. Alan mercenary cavalry should be in each of your attacking armies. They will act not as main attack troops, Like Byzantine infantry, Which 500 can defeat 3000 Eqyptions is you have a good general and know what your doing, so destroying any force which you encounter will be no problem as long as you know what your doing.

Anyway, The Alan mercenary cavalry will stay to the flanks of your army. When your troops engage the enemy, The Horse archers will predictably go to the back and stay out of trouble. As your cavalry will be fast they can catch the Horse archers and drive them back. You will only need one unit to do this, If you can the other should attack the enemy at the rear. The Turks do not have very good moral when surrounded, so this should win the battle, Its better to surround the enemy and end it quickly in any battle. Execute ant prisoners that you have, they do not have a lot of land, and you will not want any more enemy troops to stop you. Firstly you'll have to attack the Egyptians after this. Secondly you'll want your king to be dreaded for killing prisoners after battles, This will help you control the provinces you have just taken over. When you have captured the Turkish lands you might want to concider keeping the alliance with the Egyption's. Their troops are not very good, but they seem to get them from everywhere, so they'll probably just wear you down. You should probly take about 5 years to get the Turkish provinces under control, You'll want to do this for every province you capture. The best way to attack the Egyptions is to make sure you start from the top provinces first, don't let them have to many provinces next to yours. Concentrate your forces to push them back rather than fight them, this may seem not so good but whan they retreat into a Castle, if it's full then it won't last very long. I'm sure you can defeat them without any more help, so lets move on. Now you've got to secure the easten half of Europe, so it's time to go up north. You can bribe you'r way throught most of the provinces. Only the Russian's stand in your way. They have two provinces, the best way to defeat them is to use spearmen, and Alan mercenary cavilary. You'll have quite a lot of land by now, bribe Sweden and Norway to get a foothold on that part of land. Build ships there, they will act as your ships in the north. Don't wait too long as Byzantine infantry are good now, they will become outdated in about 100 years. The Danes will be easy to defeat as the'll probly only have one province, but they will attack the Germans and if they do, they will have more than one province. But this will destract the Germans, what better time to attack them? They will actully put up quite a fight, so have alot of troops ready to wear them down. When you can push forward and secure the lands form the Germans. Remember to build improved farmland's in all the province's you've captured, this will make rebellions less likly. When you've captured the whole of North Africa, rebelions will become nonstop. You cannot stop this, you can only hope to minimalise them. Now you don't want to be concerned acout keeping lands under control, just keep building and executing prisoners, changing between releasing them and executing them, to keep things going as well as they can. Remember to keep some troops in the places where you captured the Turkish lands, there will be alot of comeback attempts. Overall, keep a lot of troops eveywhere when you start capture the whole of Europe. The rebelions should start when you get a choise to delare victory when you have captured over 60% of Europe, and you choose to keep going. Train a lot of Byzantine infantry. Marry all of your princess' into your team. Keep building in every province. Take advantage of any weak point, or if you think an enemy team is unstable attack them.
