1. Minimum PC Configuration

2. Installation
-------------------------

NOTE: Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo will only install and run on 
machines installed with Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or 
Windows XP.

It is recommended that you close all other applications before you install the 
Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo. Be sure that you check your 
computer's hard disk space before you begin.

Note: The demo requires approximately 286 MB of free hard drive space.

Double-click the QWCDemo.exe file to begin the installation process. 
Follow the onscreen dialog for installing the demo.

Note: The demo installs into a default directory: 

C:Program FilesEAGAMESHarry Potter Quidditch World Cup Demo.

The installation program adds a program group called Harry Potter: 
Quidditch World Cup Demo to your Start/Programs/EA Games menu, 
and a shortcut to your desktop. Click on this shortcut or alternatively 
click on the start button on your Windows task bar. Under 

  Programs/EA Games/Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo 

select Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo to play.

3. DirectX
-------------------------

Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo requires Microsoft's DirectX 8.1 
or higher.

If you do not have DirectX 8.1 or higher installed on your PC, please 
download the latest version of DirectX at http://www.microsoft.com/directx/ 
before running the demo.

We recommend that Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo be run with 
DirectX compatible sound cards and video cards. While there is a chance 
that Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo will run with non-DirectX 
compatible hardware, you may find that:

i) Sound quality suffers.
ii) The game runs slower.
iii) The game does not run at all.

If your sound card or video card does not support DirectX, please 
contact your vendor.

4. Uninstall
-------------------------

To uninstall Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo go to 

  Programs/EAGames/Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo 

in the Start menu. Click on Uninstall Harry Potter: Quidditch World 
Cup Demo to proceed. Alternatively, click on the Start menu, select 
Settings and then Control Panel. Now find Add/Remove Programs 
and click to run. Scroll down the list until you see Harry Potter: Quidditch 
World Cup Demo, select it and click on Add/Remove to uninstall.

5. Troubleshooting Video / 3D cards
-------------------------

Video cards that use the 3DFX chip (Voodoo brand etc.) no longer 
have driver support for DirectX libraries 8 and above. As Harry Potter: 
Quidditch World Cup Demo requires DirectX 8.1 or higher these video 
cards are no longer supported.

Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup Demo supports Microsoft 
Windows-compatible keyboards, mice.
