INTRODUCTION:
Hello all. This FAQ covers the game Labyrinth X for the XBOX 360.
It is a action-adventure game made by Team Shuriken.
Despite the action-adventure moniker, Labyrinth X plays like the Avalis Dungeon
games, as it is a maze-type game where the player pushes a button to make
choices to travel to different rooms and complete actions.
The newest version of this FAQ can be found at the following sites:

STORY (quote verbatim from game)
None given.
However, when you come across the (rather attractive) woman near the start of
the game, she will basically tell you your goal.

CONTROLS
Control in this game is extremely simple. You will only use the
controller face buttons: X,Y,A,B. No other buttons are used during actual game
play.
The game presents all button choices with nice, big colored circles that match
the color and letter on the controller.
When it comes to attacks, the button functions are linked to the attacks
listed below:
Y-High Kick
X-Punch
A-Low Kick

WALKTHROUGH
This walkthrough is designed to help you through the complex maze of
Labyrinth X. The game is quite a bit bigger than some of ther maze-type
Team Shuriken games, but is still simple once you know which path to
choose. Before that knowledge comes to fruition however, one must endure
many hours of making wrong choices, apparently going in circles and meeting
Game Over screens (unless you have some touch of Divine Favor that grants you
always-make-the-right-choice-the-first-time talent---something we common folk
call "luck"). This walkthrough will alleviate those frustrating moments.
Abbreviations used:
------------------
Path Room - these are a series of rooms (usually 4) that give only one
button choice. The button choices will be shown sequentially,
therefore this title of Path Room indicates all the rooms that
follow this pattern.
Fight Room - you face an opponent in this room and must choose the correct
button to defeat them. The buttons are shown on the right side of
the screen and are linked to a certain attack type. Pressing
the correct button defeats the opponent. Pressing the incorrect
button gets you defeated and a Game Over. Don't rush. You have
all the time in the world to make a choice.
Obstacle Room - you face a room with an obstacle and must choose the correct
action to overcome it. The action choices available will have
a controller button shown next to it. Choosing the correct
action gets you past the obstacle. Choosing the incorrect
actions gets you a Game Over.
Action Room - in this room you have a button choice that causes an action to
occur. The resulting action can open a new path, or cause an
effect somewhere later in the dungeon. Actions examples are
throwing a switch, using a bomb, using an item, etc.
Scene Room - in this room you converse with a character. Most of the time
these rooms only have dialog, then you can leave. At other times
you have choices you can make. Choices have not proven fatal, so
you can do what you like.

TIPS, TRICKS, AND SECRETS
Rescuing prisoners only nets you dialog. No other benefits are acquired from
rescuing a prisoner (other than getting to look at hot anime women if that is
your thing). Well, there is only ONE prisoner in this game, and you don't have
a choice as you will "rescuing" her to continue on your path.
Checkpoints are where you can continue if you die. Simply choose Continue
at the title screen and you will begin the game at the checkpoint instead of
at the beginning.
Rooms 18 and 22 are critical rooms to winning the game. If you choose the
wrong path here, you will be on a long path to death. There is no getting off
this path once you get on it, so choose the Lose-1 path only if you want to
explore every nook and cranny of the game, because you WILL get a GAME OVER at
the end of it.
As a note, when you meet the final boss, she will tranform. Press a button to
continue on to the fight, as the game will sit there with her in her flashing
tranforming state. You have to hit a button (any button) to proceed on to the
fight.
Aside: It is rather ironic that the losing path gives you advice on what you
need to win, but not the item; yet, the winning path gives you the item but not
the advice.

TIPS, TRICKS, AND SECRETS
As in Avalis Dungeon 1, rescuing prisoners only nets you dialog. No other
benefits are acquired from rescuing a prisoner (other than getting to look at
hot anime women if that is your thing), so it is really up to you if you want
to rescue them or not. There are no penalties for not rescuing them.
Checkpoints are where you can continue if you die. Simply choose Continue
at the title screen and you will begin the game at the checkpoint instead of
at the beginning.
Room 25-2 choice B leads to dialog, and a spoiler character for the sequel,
Avalis Dungeon 3. This is the only way to see this character. If you choose
Y in Room 24, you will miss this character.
Room 32 is critical to winning the game. I always choose the X answers, as you
need the weapon upgrade the character provides in order to defeat the final
boss. I have not experimented with the other choices here.
