Nachdem bisher immer ein grober Termin März 2010 im Raum stand, hat Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) nun einen konkreten Release-Zeitpunkt für das Action-Adventures God of War 3 bekannt gegeben. Demnach wird der PS3-exklusive Titel europaweit am 19.03.2010 erscheinen. Neben der Standard-Version wird es auch eine Ultimate Trilogy Edition geben.
Diese wird zusätzlich die Vorgänger God of War und God of War 2 in neuen HD-Versionen sowie als speziellen Bonus zusätzlichen Download-Content (DLC) und ein Artbook beinhalten:

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed the launch date for the forthcoming highly-anticipated releases of both God of War III and the God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition in Europe. While a March release has been on the cards for some time, Electronic Theatre can today confirm that the phenomenally popular God of War series will make it"s PlayStation 3 debut on March 19th, 2010. [...] In addition, the God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition will not only include God of War III, but also the highly sought-after God of War and God of War II high-definition recreations that form the God of War Collection in North America. Further to this however, a whole host of God of War themed bonuses are set to be included in the package.
